Aircraft Structural Technician
by Dale Hurst
Aircraft Structural Technician covers everything you need to know about metal airframe structures - their repair and their construction.
Each category of information, (including the materials, proper working techniques, tools, the hardware fasteners, plans reading, and corrosion control) is covered in detail explaining the various procedures plus when, where, and how to use them. The emphasis is on the practical, not the theoretical. In other words "here are all the types of rivet sets available - here's what each is best for - and here's the best way to use them."
This book was written as an A&P college textbook for an in-depth course on metal airframe structures, but is also well suited and highly recommended for builders of metal kitplanes such as the Van's RV series.
